Installation
Before installing your ECO-CEILING, store the boards by laying them on a smooth, flat surface and do not leave them exposed to the sun. Ideally, store the material near the installation site for at least 24 hours prior to installation to allow it to get adapted to environmental conditions of the area.
Support Structure
The ECO-CEILING must be attached to a support structure (furring profile) which should be attached to the roof structure and must have maximum support distances for the board of 25cms (from center to center).
Joints (Expansion and Contraction)
Like other construction products, the ECO-CEILING boards will expand and contract with temperature changes. For this reason it is important to leave and adequate space between the boards.
Follow the guidelines provided in the Expansion table (See section “Expansion Table” below).
In hot locations, the ECO-CEILING boards should be cut in the shade and as early as possible during the day, to prevent them from heating up and expanding. If the boards are cut after exposure to the heat or sun, this
can cause problems after the product has been installed and the spacing or gap between board ends will end up being larger than they should be.
Additionally, note that when placing the ends of the boards against rigid elements such as walls; a distance of 1cm should be left between the end of each board and that particular element (For example: wall)
The boards should never be glued on to each other.

The gap space that should be left at the end of each board where two boards meet can vary. To determine the correct spacing to be used, the Expansion Table shown below must be followed. The table indicates the distance (in millimeters) that must be left between board ends (according to the length of the boards) and the "Delta T" (or difference between ambient temperatures) between the day of installation and the highest temperature that can be reached in that particular location
Example: If 2.20 meter boards are installed in a day where the ambient temperature is 20°C and they are being installed in a place where the maximum possible temperature can reach 40°C (the Delta T or temperature difference is 20°C). Therefore, a distance or gap of approximately 6mm should be left between the ends of the boards.
